POSITION SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES
Join our dynamic health care team as an Advanced Practice Nurse, where you will provide essential primary and specialized health care services. Your role will involve preventive care and ongoing health maintenance for diverse patient populations, ranging from those in ambulatory settings to inpatient care. You will participate in the care of well, acutely ill, and chronically ill patients, making a significant impact on their health and well-being.
EDUCATION
We are looking for a skilled Registered Professional Nurse who has advanced training and education from an accredited program. A Master's degree in nursing is preferred. Candidates should possess a minimum of three years of nursing experience and ideally have two years of advanced practice experience. Certification by a national nursing body is recommended. A current CPR Healthcare Provider card or higher is required per Medical-Dental Staff Bylaws.
LICENSURE
All candidates must hold an active Registered Nurse license in Texas and be credentialed by the State as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. While prescriptive authority is recommended, it is not mandatory.
