API Engineer

A company is looking for an API Engineer (NASA or APAC).

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain internal and public-facing APIs across various products

Integrate with third-party platforms by developing custom integrations or providing API connection points

Collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth integration and implementation of API functionality

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in backend API development with expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript (Node.js)

Experience in designing robust, scalable, and maintainable APIs, including API versioning and error handling

Good understanding of PostgreSQL and relational databases

Proven ability to develop tools for testing, debugging, and monitoring API performance

Understanding of CI / CD pipelines, Docker, and containerized deployments
