About The Position We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Connecticut, beginning Nov 17, 2025. This 120-day opportunity features day shifts from 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Wednesdays optional. The assignment focuses on outpatient care, including general check-ups, physicals, management of chronic conditions, and women's health. Job Details Location : Connecticut Start Date : Nov 17, 2025 LOA : 120 days Provider Type Needed : Family Nurse Practitioner Schedule : 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (Wednesday optional) Responsibilities and Duties Conduct general check-ups and physical examinations Diagnose and treat acute conditions such as cold, cough, and flu Manage treatment of chronic conditions Provide women's health services Accurately record care and report to the Medical Director Additional Information Must hold an active nurse practitioner license in Connecticut Required certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), DEA, Medicaid Certification Board certification in Family Medicine required Minimum of 2-3 years of family practice experience preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
