As a Senior Automation Project Engineer, you'll integrate innovation with strategy, leaving your mark across a tapestry of brands. Your responsibilitiesProvides subject matter expertise for infant formula processing and packaging industrial control systemsManages internal and external resources to complete control system changesPartners with automation technicians and maintenance to troubleshoot and diagnose control system problems, defines solutions, and develops and executes small projects to resolveCollaborates with production support groups to drive continuous improvement, ensure product quality, and maximize system reliability through the execution of automation projectsLeads stakeholders throughout automation lifecycle process including identification of system user requirements, design of systems, and commissioning and validation of systemsManages scope, schedule, and budget for site capital project automation deliverablesCoordinates startup activities for new or modified control systemsAuthors system operation, maintenance, and training documentation for control systemsAssesses control system hardware, software, and infrastructure to develop 3-to-5-year plan for updates and standardizationParticipates in a 24 / 7 on call support rotation for escalated automation issuesUnderstands and assures compliance with all applicable safety rules, building codes and regulatory requirements and internal standardThe experience we're looking forB.S. in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 3 years supporting industrial control systems in a consumer-packaged goods, infant formula, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environmentRequires experience with manufacturing control systems such as Rockwell programming and PLC logic, variable speed motor drives, HMI (Human Machine Interfaces) distributed control systems (Emerson DeltaV), instrumentation, and vision and inspection systemsWork experience in a regulated industry requiring computer system validationExperience leading automation projects through conceptual and detailed design, implementation, and validation. Knowledge in current standards of control system platforms and computer system validationDemonstrated ability to interact with peers and senior personnel in multidisciplinary teams involving scientific, engineering, and operational disciplinesThe skills for successSupply Chain Management, Business Partnership, Collaboration and partnership building, Relationship Management, Business accumen, Productivity management, Improve business processes, Advanced Analytics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Planning, Logistics Management.What we offerWith inclusion at the heart of everything we do, working alongside our four global Employee Resource Groups, we support our people at every step of their career journey, helping them to succeed in their own individual way.We invest in the wellbeing of our people through parental benefits, an Employee Assistance Program to promote mental health, and life insurance for all employees globally.
