Wolfe Design Build is a high-end, high-service design-build remodeling company that transforms kitchens, master suites, and additions into extraordinary spaces. We’re looking for a Lead Carpenter to take charge of projects from start to finish, ensuring each one meets our high standards for quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
As the Lead Carpenter, you’ll lead the on-site crew and oversee production from kickoff through completion. You’ll work closely with our Project Manager and Director of Production to plan timelines, coordinate trades, and maintain workflow. Beyond your own expert-level carpentry, you’ll ensure that safety, craftsmanship, and organization are top priorities every day.

- Pay Range : $35–$45 / hour, based on experience

Compensation :
$35 - $45 hourly
Responsibilities :
Lead and manage the carpentry crew on-site for assigned residential remodeling projects.Oversee daily jobsite operations, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and organization.Perform master-level carpentry work—demo, framing, trim, cabinetry installation, fine finishes, and minor exterior repairs, including siding, exterior trim, windows, doors, and small roof work.Coordinate trade partners and uphold Wolfe Design Build’s craftsmanship standards.Collaborate with Project Managers to manage schedules, materials, workflow, and site logistics.Review and redline plans or shop drawings for accuracy.Mentor and train other carpenters and apprentices to maintain company standards.Maintain site documentation and assist with punch lists, move-in, and project closeouts.Contribute to “Lessons Learned” and post-job reviews for continuous improvement.Ensure all work follows proper construction sequencing and proactively resolve workflow or scheduling issues.Fulfill tasks assigned by the Project Manager and the Director of Production.Qualifications :
10+ years of residential carpentry experience, with proven skill in fine finish work.Proven strong leadership skills and ability to manage field teams and subcontractors.Deep knowledge of construction sequencing and high-end remodeling practices.Proficiency with JobTread , BuilderTrend , or similar project management software (mandatory).Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, email) required.OSHA-10 required; RRP and CSL certifications a plus.Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and personal tools.Ability to work 40–50 hours per week when needed.Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.Experience coordinating trades and maintaining clean, safe, and organized worksites at all times.About Company
