As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a government location. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, as you monitor assigned areas and respond to incidents as needed. You will also interact with staff and visitors, providing excellent customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as neededRespond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed postsConduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or incidentsMaintain awareness of surroundings within a government location and report any suspicious persons, activities, or conditions to appropriate personnelDocument and communicate all security-related incidents and observations according to site and Allied Universal protocolsAssist visitors, staff, and contractors by providing information and guidance while maintaining access control proceduresSupport emergency response efforts, including evacuations and lockdowns, as directed by site-specific policies and Allied Universal guidelinesParticipate in ongoing training and drills to remain prepared for armed response situations as required by the locationWhat We're Looking For
