Job description

Job Title : Logistics– Manufacturing Operations

Overview :

The Logistics and manufacturing operations play a key role in ensuring seamless production flow, quality assurance, and process optimization within a manufacturing environment. This position requires strong knowledge of SAP, hands-on experience in coordinating production and quality teams, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise and coordinate quality and logistics personnel across production lines to ensure smooth operations and adherence to quality standards.
  • Oversee compliance with product and process quality standards throughout the manufacturing and logistics chain.
  • Conduct internal audits and support external audits in line with ISO 9001 : 2015 requirements.
  • Ensure the consistent application of established quality and logistics procedures.
  • Manage and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address nonconformities and process deviations.
  • Generate and maintain reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Train and raise awareness among operational and logistics staff on quality and process standards.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and supply chain departments to address quality or logistics issues.
  • Lead process optimization and cost-reduction initiatives through Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
  • Investigate, analyze, and implement corrective measures in response to customer complaints or product returns.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Basic knowledge of SAP modules related to quality, materials, and production.
  • Proven experience supervising or coordinating production or logistics personnel in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 : 2015 standards and quality auditing practices.
  • Strong background in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
  • Experience managing quality and logistics KPIs and driving measurable performance improvements.
  • Advanced English proficiency for communication with auditors, clients, and international teams.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities with a focus on collaboration and results.
