The LVN at LGTC Group's Eating Disorder Residential plays a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to our adolescent clients going through eating disorder treatment in our 24 / 7 facility. This position is essential for ensuring that all patients receive timely medical attention and support, contributing to their overall well-being and recovery. The LVN will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and monitor patient progress. Additionally, this role involves educating patients and their families about health management and treatment options. Ultimately, the LVN will help create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes healing and comfort for all clients.
Right now we are looking for candidates seeking a part-time or per-diem role. All part-time staff are required to work at least one weekend shift on a weekly basis. Our current shift openings are Monday and Sunday AM (7-3 : 30PM) and Saturday / Sunday PM (3-11 : 30PM) shifts.
Responsibilities :
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Aid the milieu counselors on the floor and assist with bathroom observations and cleaning tasks
- Crisis de-escalation as needed
- The ability to perform basic wound care
Qualifications :
