Position overview
The primary function of the Construction Loan Administration (Real Estate Credit) Specialist is to manage the servicing and administration of construction loans, ensuring compliance with loan terms and coordinating with borrowers, contractors, and internal departments. This position will provide exceptional, efficient and courteous customer service to both internal and external customers and to be responsible for the management of the entire construction loan administration process for the Bank.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Consistently delivers outstanding client service; providing premiere client satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
- Acts as a cultural ambassador to internal and external clients, providing a professional, exceptional, and supportive experience with each interaction.
- Administers construction loans, which includes but is not limited to draw requests, partial lien releases, title updates, final waivers, etc.
- Maintains detailed funding records for each construction loan making sure that each draw is properly funded within the loans approved guidelines.
- Monitors construction draws and disbursements.
- Bids and orders commercial appraisals and environmental reports.
- Supports loan assistants working on prepping and closing construction loans.
- Reviews and interprets commercial loan documents.
- Ensures compliance with loan agreements and regulatory requirements(Bank Policy / Florida Lien Law)
- Coordinates inspections and manages lien waivers.
- Communicates with borrowers and construction teams.
- Maintains accurate records in loan servicing systems.

Minimum Qualifications
1 to 2 years of Construction Loan Administration experience and / or 2+ years of current experience with the Bank of TampaDemonstrates superior communication ability, both oral and written; has good listening skills; communicates ideas clearly and crediblyProficient in Microsoft Office suiteEnjoys working in a collaborative environmentAdaptive, flexible, and comfortable with evolving and progressive changeHigh School Diploma / GEDPreferred Qualifications
