Job description
Inpatient Physiatrist (PM&R) Locum Tenens
Location : Colchester, VT
Coverage Dates :
July 28 August 1, 2025
September , 2025
Additional coverage anticipated in early 2026 onboarded providers will be prioritized.
Schedule : 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM
Call : Evening call required during coverage periods
Setting : 20-bed inpatient rehab unit
Position Highlights
Role : Inpatient Physiatrist providing comprehensive rehab care
Responsibilities include :
Managing up to 20 patients daily in a dedicated rehabilitation unit
Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, PT / OT, case management, unit-based hospitalist)
No surgical procedures
No mid-level supervision
Documenting in Epic EMR
Requirements
Experience : Inpatient rehabilitation experience strongly preferred
Licensure / Certifications :
Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (ABPMR)
BLS Required
Must be comfortable working independently
