Job Description & Requirements Specialty : OR - Operating Room Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 22 / 2025 Duration : 18 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Opportunity : RN - OR Job Details : 3 years of nursing experience required with previous travel experience required Level II trauma experience required (minimum 1 year), Level I trauma experience preferred Must function independently in all specialties including robotics, orthopedics, general, GYN, urology, bariatrics, ENT, plastics, vascular, thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and trauma Must be proficient with DaVinci xi robot and bonus points for DV5 DaVinci robot familiarity Must be proficient with robotic general, GYN, thoracic, and urology specialties Prefer RNs who can both scrub and circulate 4-5 calls within a 6-week matrix with 30-minute call back response time 4-5 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix (could be day, evening, or night shift) Must work 2 of 3 major holidays with no time off approved between Christmas and New Year's Holiday shifts could be day, evening, or night shift No block scheduling including floating block Floating as needed Patient ratio of 1 : 1 for days, nights, and weekends Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Work in 18-room OR with daily census of 50-60 cases EPIC charting system experience heavily preferred BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only) Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract Clean nursing license required with no license hits accepted Tobacco and fragrance-free facility Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours, billable) Manager interview required Facility : This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive Level I trauma center with advanced surgical capabilities.
