Certified Pharmacy Technician I Inpatient, Per Diem

Schedule : Every other weekend rotating shifts.

POSITION SUMMARY :

As a BMC Inpatient Pharmacy Technician you will be preparing and distributing medications operating and monitoring pharmacy automated technology systems maintaining inventory performing daily quality assurance audits providing customer service and maintaining pharmacy records. You will assists in training staff under the supervision and guidance of the Pharmacy Managers and Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to help further BMCs mission of providing exceptional care for all.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Tasks

• Performs data entry tasks such as prescription transcription and entry resolve third party insurance claim issues contacts providers as appropriate for the pharmacist while maintaining customer / patient confidentiality.
• Prepares prescription orders in a timely manner; retrieves counts measures and prepares medications solutions ointments and other compounds as directed. Ensures all work is checked by a pharmacist.
• Supports the service needs of the pharmacist relative to pharmacy services and maximized patient care outcomes such as ensuring the prescription is dispensed to the correct patient at the point-of-sale in a professional and courteous manner

Compensation Range : $25.13- $33.82

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer.
