Our client is a boutique commercial real estate company specializing exclusively in retail properties in the Baltimore-Washington metro area. With approximately 30 employees and strong retention rates, they lease over 20 million square feet of retail space and represent about 150 retailers on an exclusive basis. The company focuses primarily on suburban shopping centers anchored by major retailers like Target, Costco, and Whole Foods and urban, mixed-use projects. As a privately held company, they maintained full employment during COVID and offer exceptional job security with a fast-paced, collaborative work environment that values speed and shared responsibility.

Primary Purpose of Position

Lead marketing strategy and creative direction to revitalize marketing materials and establish a strong social media presence. This role will oversee content review and provide creative direction for all marketing communications, working collaboratively with an established team of graphic designers and GIS specialists to enhance the company's market position and support leasing and development initiatives.

Essential Functions

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans with focus on digital communications, social media strategy, and brand consistency
• Provide creative direction to upgrade marketing materials while working within existing resources
• Oversee website redesign, company brochure redesign, and have complete responsibility for social media presence (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok)
• Review and approve all marketing content, including broker blasts and email marketing communications (multiple times weekly)
• Develop and coordinate press releases and media strategy for leasing transactions and business accomplishments
