Job description

AlliedTravelCareers is working with HonorVet Technologies to find a qualified RRT in Maryland!

Pay Information

$1,890 to $2,110 per week

About The Position

Title : RRT – NICU / PICU (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

Location : Baltimore, MD

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 – 07 : 30); every other weekend and every other holiday

Job Responsibilities :

Provide respiratory therapy services for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients in a Level IV NICU and Level I Trauma Center.

Manage ventilators including Maquet Servo i and Draeger V500, as well as jet and oscillating ventilators.

Administer aerosolized medications and perform oxygen therapy via bag and mask, ET tube, HFNC, and trach collar.

Perform intubation, extubation, suctioning, and airway management procedures for neonates and pediatric patients.

Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal transports.

Draw, analyze, and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).

Provide support for ECMO and nitric oxide therapy as needed.

Document all treatments and patient interactions using the EPIC charting system.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Job Requirements

Required Skills & Experience :

Active Maryland Respiratory Care Practitioner license (required)

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (required)

Minimum 2 years of NICU / PICU respiratory therapy experience (required; strong first-time travelers considered)

Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (AHA only)

Experience with neonatal and pediatric ventilator management, including HFJV and oscillation

Proficiency in EPIC charting (preferred)

Ability to float within the hospital as needed
