CPC Certified ED Coder

A company is looking for a Coder ER.

Key Responsibilities

Abstract, code, sequence, and interpret clinical information from various medical records

Assign correct principal and secondary diagnoses and procedure codes while ensuring accurate sequencing

Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and track productivity in specified systems

Required Qualifications

Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program

A minimum of two to four years of current production coding experience in acute care and profee

Certificates and / or licenses such as CPC, COC, CIC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, and / or CCS-P

Experience with Epic and 3M 360 CAC

Ability to maintain a minimum of 95% coding accuracy
