People Operations Specialist

LaSalle Network is partnering with a global technology organization to identify a People Operations Specialist to join their growing HR team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented HR professional who thrives in fast-paced, data-driven environments and wants to gain global HR exposure.

In this highly visible role, you will manage onboarding, payroll, HRIS maintenance, and compliance, helping shape a best-in-class employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of people strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; review and update policies as needed.
  • Process multi-state US payroll and related reporting.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS, managing new hires, terminations, promotions, and leaves.
  • Lead seamless onboarding, including I-9s, background checks, tax forms, orientation, and IT coordination.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Support annual open enrollment and M&A integration projects.
  • Prepare compliance and leadership reports (including EEO-1).
  • Manage annual handbook distribution and harassment training.
  • Assist with FMLA and leave administration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 25 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or HR administration.
  • Experience with payroll input, HRIS maintenance, reporting, and other data-heavy processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Positive, adaptable, and collaborative communicator.
  • Experience with Rippling, PinPoint, or similar HRIS systems preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs).
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred but not required.
  • Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary : $65,000 $75,000 / year.
