What You'll Do :
- Manage all aspects of civil litigation from inception through verdict
- Conduct discovery, depositions, and motion practice
- Handle Motions in Limine, jury selection, and first-chair trials
- Represent public entities in high-exposure civil and police litigation
- Prepare briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents
- Attend hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
- Maintain strong communication and partnership with government clients
What We're Looking For :
Extensive first-chair trial experience, including at least 10 jury and 5 bench trials to verdict in CaliforniaStrong background in civil litigation with a focus on public entity defenseWorking knowledge of California Evidence Code and civil procedureJ.D. from an accredited law school and active California bar license in good standingLocal to Southern California (hybrid flexibility after onboarding)Practice Areas Include :
