Our mission is to remove the physical, financial, and emotional barriers that prevent families from maintaining meaningful connections with incarcerated loved ones, accessing mental health care, or navigating reentry. Founded in 2025, the LoopRoots Foundation operates nationally, with an initial focus on underserved communities in Maryland, Arizona, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, California, and Virginia.

- LoopConnect – A ride credit sponsorship platform that provides free or subsidized rides to prison visitation facilities, allowing families to stay in contact during incarceration.
- LoopTalk – A HIPAA-compliant virtual therapy program offering trauma-informed mental health care to justice-impacted individuals and caregivers, including children.
- LoopTroop Rideshare Partnership – We collaborate with the LoopTroop Rideshare platform to ensure families have access to safe, reliable, and culturally competent transportation services.

Position Summary
We're seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Operations Manager (Volunteer) to help streamline the daily functions of LoopRoots Foundation. This role ensures our programs, volunteers, and partnerships operate smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with our mission. You'll work directly with the Founder and department leads to coordinate workflows across our programs, manage communication systems in Zoho, and ensure all projects stay on track.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operational tasks across programs (Loop Works, Loop Housing, Loop Youth, etc.)Manage project timelines and task assignments in Zoho ProjectsSupport volunteer onboarding and maintain updated team directoriesAssist with compliance and documentation for grants, funding, and reportsMaintain calendars, meeting schedules, and weekly updatesTrack budgets, invoices, and expense reporting alongside the leadership teamHelp prepare monthly progress summaries and internal reportsIdentify opportunities to improve processes and workflow efficiencyQualifications
Strong organizational and time-management skillsExperience managing teams, programs, or operations (nonprofit preferred)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with project management tools (Zoho, Asana, or Trello)Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft OfficeDetail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focusedComfortable working independently and remotelyPreferred Experience (Bonus)
Background in nonprofit operations, project coordination, or administrationKnowledge of fundraising, grant reporting, or program complianceFamiliarity with community or justice-impact initiativesWhat You'll Gain
