Responsibilities Work in a high-acuity hospital Cath Lab unit Handles cardiac patients including STEMI cases with a patient ratio of 1 : 6 Performs between 12-18 cases per day across three newly renovated Philips labs Uses Medrad and manifold for injections, with documentation in XPER and EPIC Performs procedures including TAVRs, watchman, cardiomems, carotids, impella, CTO, peripherals, TEVAR / EVAR, and STEMI interventions Schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts (7 : 00-17 : 30), Monday through Friday Weekend coverage required every other weekend On-call coverage required, including weekends and holidays Required to float to medical assignments and the ED for medical holds within scope Block scheduling and RTO considered at manager's discretion Responsibilities include circulating and monitoring during cath lab procedures The unit operates as a high-volume, team-oriented environment Scrubs are provided for staff First-time travelers are encouraged to apply Local candidates are accepted for this position Requirements Active VA or compact RN license Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications Minimum 1 year of cardiac or critical care experience required Previous experience in cardiac cath lab or IR preferred Experience with XPER and Epic documentation preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-617172.
