Job Title : Loan Consultant
Locations : Coppell, TX, Tempe AZ, 1 NY Plaza (Hybrid)
Duration : 12 Months Contract
The Servicing Oversight Associate candidate will be responsible for escalation support and proactive monitoring activities, working within the Servicing Oversight - Portfolio Oversight team, with key goal of ensuring mortgage servicing functions are held within standard service level agreements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support servicing portfolio oversight team and proactive monitoring and ensure response to inquiries and escalations are processed timely within defined Service Level Agreements
- Coordinate and follow up with response to appropriate internal groups, including senior management
- Monitor internal reports to identify new inquires and escalations, pick up new inquiries and escalations and facilitate research and response back
- Perform in depth loan level reviews of early to late stage delinquent mortgage loans
- Work with external vendor to track the inquiries and escalations and provide timely response back on loan level escalations
- Create and prepare ongoing reporting to track inquiry and escalation, response time, aging, and trending on categories of inquiries
- Track issues reported to assess potential client impact and determine appropriate client facing and internal communications to notify respective parties, as needed
- Perform backup support for other team members in the Servicing Oversight group
- Participate in ad hoc projects and project management as needed and assisting management with requests related to servicing oversight
- Additional responsibilities as required by management
Preferred Experience
3 to 5 years of experience within client services and mortgage servicing, including loan onboarding, loan administration, and default managementPreferred 1+ years of management / supervisory experienceMortgage servicing experience, including working knowledge of escrow, insurance and tax tracking, payment processing, etc.Working knowledge of applicable regulatory guidelines related to mortgage servicingAdhere to turn time commitments while working in a high-volume environmentCollege degree preferredSkills
Excellent organization skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong Computer skills- must be familiar with how to navigate a Microsoft Windows environment and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office softwarePreferred knowledge of mortgage servicing tools, including MSP / DirectorHigh level of Accuracy and Detail Oriented / multitaskingMust have excellent teamwork orientation and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
