Post-operative patients after craniotomies for bleed evacuations, AVMs, and tumor resections. Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgery cases. Patients experiencing hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program. A high volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, along with medical overflow cases. Deliver and coordinate high-quality, patient-centered care based on evidence-based practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide safe and compassionate care. Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Enhance the patient experience throughout all stages of care. Be part of a supportive team culture that values connection and community engagement. Work in an environment dedicated to teamwork, ongoing learning, and patient-centered care. Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care. Anticipate and respond to significant changes in patients' conditions promptly. Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families. Coordinate discharge plans using an interdisciplinary approach. Ensure patient safety by identifying and mitigating risks. Promote teamwork and effective communication among healthcare team members. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the department. Registered Nurse license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Completion of an accredited nursing program. Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred. Strong orientation toward holistic patient care. Proficient in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Diverse knowledge in managing patient safety and regulatory compliance. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Ability to perform various physical activities, including lifting, standing, and mobility throughout the workday. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing sliding transfers. Ability to work with exposure to hazardous materials and environments.
