JOB SUMMARY

The Head Start Facilities Assistant supports the coordination of ordering, meal planning, snack preparation, and food service supply management for KCSL's 10-county service area. Under the direction of the Head Start Human Resource Generalist and the Facilities and Food Service Manager, this role assists in ensuring that approved meal plans are delivered for center-based class sessions and home-based socializations by helping with food / supply delivery coordination and inventory tracking. The assistant also provides support during annual CACFP audits, helps maintain compliance documentation for CACFP contracts, and assists the Certified Authorized Representative with related responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Travels to all site locations monthly to help complete monthly facility checklists and assist in scheduling necessary building repairs

Helps monitor inventory levels for food service and related supplies
