Description :

The position requires working 4 days a week, Monday to Friday, with flexible shift options.

Shifts may begin as early as 6 : 00 AM or as late as 10 : 00 AM.

This role is focused on preparing patients for procedures and overseeing their recovery.

Registered Nurses in this area will prepare patients prior to catheterization and electrophysiology procedures to ensure readiness at scheduled times.

Responsibilities include hemodynamic monitoring and recovery from general and moderate sedation.

You will assist in pulling arterial and venous sheaths and removing radial bands.

Support for physicians during various procedures, including cardioversion and transesophageal echo, will be required.

The patient demographic includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Daily census will be approximately 32 patients.

Diagnoses will include chest pain, heart failure, aortic stenosis, and various structural heart conditions.

Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, such as IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy, is expected.

Travelers must be located at least 100 miles away from any facility of the specified healthcare system for eligibility.

Floating to other units may be required based on census concerns, while ensuring competencies are met.
