Location : Fully Remote. Team sits in Texas.

Very rarely, all the team tries to get together, maybe once a year. 1-2 day summit in Austin, TX

SHIFT : Mon - Fri 8am - 5PM No OT required

Job Description : This team supports Medicaid kids program. We work with the star kids program, which is Medicaid kids program. This team specifically works with the population of 15-20 year olds up to their 21 st birthday age range. Our purpose is to get them prepared for adulthood and transitioning them to adult Medicaid and adulthood. We talk to them about what it means to become an adult, and we try to help them with education, jobs, etc. These children have disabilities, so we try to assist them with getting jobs, going to college, and become successful adults. We provide resources for housing,, utilities, food banks, etc. when needed.

Typical Day in the Role : This team works off of spreadsheets and makes live phone calls to different age groups. We have an auto dialer who does the work, but we wait for the phone calls to go out and transfer the call to us. This is about 2 times a week for about 3 hours each day. For days we don t have palm its more taking your spreadsheets, looking at your numbers and start making outreach calls and see if they are available to complete an assessment. We also work to obtain guardianship documents, converting doctors etc. anything that the kids will need help, but a lot of outreach calls all day long. There is a quota- we ask our team members have 20 transitions a day and 2 assessments a day.

Must haves : basics of understanding excel, Case management experience

Nice to haves : preference if they have worked with the adolescence kids ages 15-21

Disqualifiers : Someone who is not comfortable on the phone as this role will require you to be on the phone almost all day.
