Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Loan Processor to support our mortgage team. The ideal candidate is organized, great with communication, and eager to grow their career in the mortgage industry. This role assists with gathering documentation, reviewing loan files, and ensuring files move smoothly through each stage of the loan process.

Key Responsibilities

Collect and review borrower documentation for accuracy and completeness

Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, escrow, and title companies

Upload and update loan conditions in the LOS system

Track loan milestones and ensure deadlines are met

Prepare files for underwriting submission

Follow up on outstanding conditions

Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process

Maintain organized and compliant loan files

Requirements

1+ year experience in mortgage, lending, or financial services preferred

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to multitask and manage time in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with loan documents and basic mortgage terminology is a plus

Proficiency with computers and data entry
