LOCUM CVICU Physician Assistant

We are hiring an experienced nurse practitioner / physician assistant for our Cardiothoracic department for a locum assignment in San Francisco, CA!

Candidate must have a California license!

This position is majority nights but can have some days shifts unless all nights are preferred. They can do 3 : 12s weekly, or block shifts together in 6 on / 8 off with at least 1 weekend per month covered!

The assignment shall be a 6 months to start, with an option to extend.

Seeking experienced providers with either CVICU and / or MCS APP experience!

Target Start : April 2025

The CVICU / MCS APP will admit, evaluate, diagnose, and treat critically ill cardiogenic shock patients on MCS support (ECMO, VAD, Impella) in the ICU setting under the supervision of the attending physician and will perform bedside procedures (including but not limited to arterial line, central line placement).
