Mgr Load Research & Data Analytics

Lead and manage a team of Load Research and data analytics professionals in the Demand Side Analytics team under the broader Energy Portfolio Analytics team. The position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in analytics to deliver data-driven insights into how various customer classes use energy and how demand interventions affect homes' and businesses' use of energy. This role involves creating and analyzing large datasets and working closely with various departments to ensure accurate and reliable load research and data analytics that inform operations, strategic planning, and decision-making.

• Lead and mentor a team of analysts / program managers, managing team dynamics, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Manage team members' recruitment, transfer of knowledge, and professional development.

Minimum Skills

Rigorous and robust analytics skills, with strong understanding of mathematics and statistical modeling techniques. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Python, R, SAS, Alteryx, SQL, and forecasting software. Knowledge in developing big data extracts of differing data attributes, and data engineering to support needed analysis. Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate to convey complex information clearly and effectively at all levels of the company. Proficient in Microsoft Office Package, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, electronic mail and scheduling. Must have a favorable driving record.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field from an accredited university.

Required Certifications

Working Environment

Indoor work, operating computer, manual dexterity, talking, hearing, repetitive motion. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator. Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business related events.

Physical Demands

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and / or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
