Minimum Qualifications :
- CDL-A required.
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience required within the past 7 years.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission.
- Clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass background check, DOT drug screen, and DOT physical.
- Must be registered in the National Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with a clear record.
- Prior delivery experience : White glove delivery service strongly preferred but is NOT required.
- Stable employment history is a plus.
- Must have strong, excellent customer service and communications skills.
- The successful candidate will be mechanically inclined : This position sets up medical equipment for demonstration so driver must be able to push, pull, and remove equipment from racks and position equipment in designated areas.
- Perform other reasonable requests as directed by management.
- Employment verifications will be completed to verify driver has adequate experience and to verify driving history with former employers.
Job Duties :
Operates tractor / trailer equipment in accordance with all DOT and OSHA regulations to transport trailer safely and legally from and to each destination.Ensure arrival at each destination within a timely manner and ensure that trailer, and its contents are secured and arrive at the destination undamaged and in original condition.Maintains driver daily logs, trip reports, and other documents as required.Performs full pre-trip and post-trip inspections.Communicates any issues and / or damage to tractor, trailer, or product to management immediately.Drivers will arrive on time and set trailer up for each session. The driver will stay with the trailer during the session to aid and maintain the equipment.Order such items as hand soap, sanitizer, gloves, etc., as needed.Deliver White Glove Service.This position is out on the road 46 - 47 weeks per yearRoutes may include : All 48 states and parts of Canada.Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management.Compensation / Safety Bonus :
$29.50 per hourQuarterly Safety Bonus eligible.Paid every week via direct deposit.Layover pay.Fly home on during weekend breaks, apx 8 to 10 times per yearBenefits :
