We are seeking Engineering Managers to join our Enterprise engineering pillar, focused on scaling product experiences for our biggest customers. We currently have openings on :

The Scaled Experiences Team (SF / NYC) : The Scaled Experiences team focuses holistically on the customer problem of using Airtable at scale. This includes owning Airtable's high-scale storage and processing system, HyperDB, as well as user-facing scale-related experiences such as large view interactions, search, charting, and bulk actions on large volumes of data.

Please note : while we employ a hybrid working model at Airtable (flexible in working from the office or elsewhere), we are looking to hire candidates at this level that are based in San Francisco or New York City who are open to coming into the office at least ~2-3 times / week for team collaboration.

What You'll Do

• Lead, manage, and grow a team of high-functioning engineers that are in charge of our systems and frameworks.
• Partner with engineering leaders to drive technical decisions and initiatives to build products in a high-quality and sustainable way.
• Nurture a team of passionate and capable engineers. Partner with senior engineers to multiply their impact, and coach & grow early-career engineers.
• Partner with cross-functional peers including product and design to come up with and execute against short and long term strategy and plans for the team.
• Implement processes to help the team scale and be productive, while allowing for agility to accommodate the dynamic environment that we operate in.

For work locations in the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, New York City, and Los Angeles, the base salary range for this role is :

$240,000 - $339,900 USD
