Strittmatter Companies, a respected leader in turnkey site development throughout the Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team. With decades of experience and a strong foundation built on integrity, performance, and innovation, Strittmatter continues to deliver high-quality site work for major infrastructure and private development projects across Virginia, Maryland, and DC.

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Senior PM with a strong background in civil construction to help lead complex site development projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in managing teams, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and delivering projects safely, on time, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate daily project operations including scheduling, material procurement, and crew management
  • Partner with superintendents and foremen to ensure smooth site operations and maintain production goals
  • Serve as primary point of contact with clients and general contractors
  • Oversee all project startup documentation including submittals, Miss Utility, and safety paperwork
  • Manage change orders, RFI tracking, billing, and project closeouts
  • Track and report jobsite productivity using Excel and internal templates
  • Perform takeoffs and develop proposals for additional work / change orders

Qualifications :

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Civil Project Manager in turnkey site development
  • Strong knowledge of civil drawings, construction sequencing, and site operations
  • Experience with data center or large-scale commercial projects is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, Bluebeam; project management software experience preferred
  • Strong administrative, documentation, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with AIA documents, cost tracking, and monthly pay applications
  • Experience bringing subcontractors on board
  • Experience with Heavy Job and / or M-Files software is a plus
