As a Facilities, Health, Safety, and Environmental (FHSE) Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, health, and environmental sustainability of our team. You will oversee and implement strategies to promote a safe and healthy work environment while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing facility maintenance operations to optimize efficiency, minimize downtime, and minimize environmental impact. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Safety :
- Lead CORE (Behavior Based Safety Program at CG&P) activities in the facility to build a safety-first culture in the team.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Provide safety training and education to employees using Centrals safety program to promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and develop recommendations to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve safety processes and procedures.
- Lead safety committee to promote on site collaboration to solve safety concerns.
Health Management :
Oversee health initiatives to promote employee well-being and prevent occupational illnesses.Coordinate with healthcare providers to implement wellness programs and occupational health services as needed.Provide guidance on ergonomics, workplace design, and other factors affecting employee health.Environmental Stewardship :
Develop and implement environmental management systems to minimize the organization's environmental footprint.Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits, including waste management and emissions control.Conduct environmental assessments and audits to identify opportunities for sustainable practices and resource conservation.Facility Management :
Oversee the maintenance and operation of facilities to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient work environment.Develop and implement facility maintenance plans, including preventive maintenance schedules and repair procedures.Manage facility projects, including renovations, expansions, and equipment installations, while considering health, safety, and environmental impacts.Monitor facility performance metrics, such as energy consumption and resource usage, and identify opportunities for improvement.Regulatory Compliance :
Stay updated on relevant regulations and standards related to safety, health, and environmental management.Interpret regulations and assess their impact on organizational operations.Liaise with regulatory agencies and third-party auditors to ensure compliance and resolve any compliance issues.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in occupational health and safety, management, etc. (preferred but not required)Professional certification in safety (e.g., CSP, CIH), environmental management (e.g., CEM, CEP), or related discipline is highly desirable.Proven experience in facilities management, occupational health and safety, and environmental compliance, preferably in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of applicable regulations and standards (OSHA, EPA, etc.) and experience with regulatory compliance.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Analytical mindset with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive informed decision-making.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility.BENEFITS PACKAGE & EMPLOYEE PROGRAMS
