Long Island Full Service Plumbing Company looking for a LEAD PLUMBING MECHANIC . MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE RUNNING A CREW, READING BLUEPRINTS AND TAKING CHARGE.

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
  • Cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues
  • Install, maintain, and repair boilers including but not limited to gas, oil and tankless systems
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient installation and maintenance processes.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and questions.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications :

  • Must have a VALID drivers license (will be verified)
  • Must live on Long Island
  • Experience as a plumbing MECHANIC required minimum 5 years experience
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
  • Collaborate professionally with contractors, construction workers, electricians, and other professionals on job sites
  • Adhere to safety standards and building codes
  • Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in plumbing work
  • Experience with pipe threading and installation
  • Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • STRONG attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Valid driver's license is REQUIRED
  • Work schedule Monday through Friday
  • Paid vacation time
