Full-Time Registered Nurse - Telemetry

• Demonstrate leadership abilities as per applicable competencies.\n
• Provide comprehensive nursing care by utilizing the nursing process : assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.\n
• Address the complex psychological, emotional, and cultural needs of patients and their families.\n
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols while monitoring for side effects.\n
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient history, symptoms, medications, and treatments administered.\n
• Assess patients' learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers accordingly.\n\nJob Requirements : \n\nEducation / Skills : \n
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.\n\nExperience : \n
• Preferred : 1 year of experience in a relevant nursing specialty.\n\nLicenses, Registrations, or Certifications : \n
• BLS certification required.\n
• Valid RN license in the state of employment or compact state.\n\nPosition Requirements : \n
• Attend New Nurses Orientation within the first month of hire.\n
• Complete initial on-boarding requirements with a designated preceptor.\n
• Participate in residency programs or specialized orientation if newly licensed.\n
• Fulfill all annual competency verification requirements.\n\nExperience : \n
• Preferred : At least one year in a related nursing specialty.\n\nLicenses, Registrations, or Certifications : \n
• Current ACLS certification required.\n\nNote : Compliance with CHRISTUS Health's license, certification, and registration verification is mandatory.\n\nCredential Grace Periods : \n\nIf additional credentials are necessary, grace periods will apply based on your experience level. : \n
• Experienced Associates : 1 year of acute care clinical experience is necessary.\n
• New to Specialty : Candidates without the required experience will fall into this category.\n\nGrace Periods : \n

• ACLS : 30 days from hire.\n
• PALS : 30 days from hire.\n
• Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC) : 60 days from hire.\n
• Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) : 60 days from hire.\n
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) : 30 days from hire.\n
• AWHONN INTERMEDIATE FHM : 30 days from hire.\n
