A company is looking for an Urgent Care Coding Quality and Education Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct quality assurance audits to validate coding accuracy and compliance
Provide training and education to coding personnel based on audit results
Respond to coding, documentation, and billing inquiries from providers and clients
Required Qualifications
Nationally recognized coding certification (e.g., CPC, CCS, RCC, RHIT, RHIA) is required
Minimum of 5 years of specialty-specific coding experience, including 1 year in a senior or lead auditing role
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and tracking
Familiarity with medical coding software and audit reporting tools
Strong knowledge of coding guidelines and regulatory compliance
