Job Summary
The Technical Editor position supports multiple project offices within Program Executive Office (PEO) Missile and Space (M&S) performing technical writing and / or technical communications. Duties include writing and editing technical reports, requirements documentation, white papers, and other supporting documents to communicate complex and technical information. The technical editor will develop, gather, and disseminate technical information among customers, developers, and test support personnel. To ensure the production of high-quality documentation that is appropriate for its intended audience, meets applicable standards, and is easy to understand, the technical editor will regularly collaborate with analysts and team leaders. In addition to documentation support, the technical editor will assist with mission critical data and documentation transfers between separate secured networks.
