Academic Inpatient Psychiatry Unit Chief

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams and participate in behavioral and medical codes.
• Evaluate academic activities for residents and medical students.
• Provide direct patient care, monitor length of stay, and conduct clinical consultations.
• Assess the need for psychiatric assessments and aftercare components.
• Participate in Performance Improvement, Quality Assurance, Risk Management, and Regulatory activities.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

Salary : $270,000 (based on a 40-hour work week)

Bonus : Up to $30,000 (contingent on quality and productivity targets)
