LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in Lewiston, Idaho, 83501!

Pay Information

$275 to $300 per hour

About The Position

Surgical Oncology Locums in Idaho - 4-Day Work Week

A long-term Surgical Oncology locums assignment is now available in Idaho. This interim coverage opportunity provides a predictable schedule and a consistent caseload in a collegial setting, beginning this fall.

Highlights

  • This is an ongoing, full-time need perfect for a long-term assignment.
  • Case mix focuses on elective oncology surgeries.
  • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are all included.

Practice Setting

  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
  • Anticipate seeing approximately 15 patients per day.
  • You will be supported by a dedicated team of RNs and MAs.

    • Schedule

  • Clinic days are scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays.
  • Procedure days are on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • Call is for a 10-day rotation and shared 1 : 4.

    • Procedures and Cases

  • Provide coverage for an adult patient population.
  • Focus on elective oncology surgeries.
  • General surgery cases include appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty.

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified or Eligible in Surgical Oncology or General Surgery.
  • Must hold an active ATLS certification.
  • A minimum of 12 months of recent experience is required.

    • Credentialing Requirements

  • Credentialing takes approximately 60-90 days to complete.
  • This opportunity is open to IMLC physicians.
  • Our team provides full credentialing support for this assignment.

    • Travel Accommodations

  • All travel and lodging arrangements will be provided for you.
  • A rental car is included for the duration of your coverage.
