Recreation Coordinator

About the Role

Are you creative, energetic, and passionate about making a difference? We are seeking a Recreation Coordinator to design and lead a variety of engaging activities, events, and outings for clients in our residential behavioral health program. This is a unique opportunity to combine imagination and organization to support individuals on their healing journey from substance use.

What You'll Do

Plan, coordinate, and oversee recreational and leisure activities both on- and off-site.

Organize creative and inclusive events such as swimming, hiking, bowling, corn hole tournaments, and more.

Develop new ideas for activities that foster connection, fun, and wellness for a diverse group of participants.

Manage program schedules and ensure all activities stay within budgetary guidelines.

Create a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment for participants to build confidence and community.

What We're Looking For

Experience planning recreational, leisure, or group activities (behavioral health or healthcare setting preferred).

Strong creativity and imagination to design varied programming.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Ability to engage and motivate individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Passion for supporting individuals in recovery and promoting positive experiences.
