REPORTS TO : Director of Children's Ministry

FLSA STATUS : Non-exempt

WORK HOURS : At least 3 Sundays every month, approximately 3–4 hours each week from

9 : 30 a.m.-12 : 30 p.m. and occasionally from 8 : 30 a.m.-12 : 30 p.m. (with occasional additional

training sessions).

JOB SUMMARY

The Redeemer Lincoln Square (LSQ) Sunday Morning Nursery Worker provides a safe, caring and peaceful environment for the youngest members of LSQfrom infants to 24 months old at the West Side YMCA. This role is essential in helping parents worship with peace of mind, knowing their children are cared for in a loving and secure setting. Nursery workers bring warmth, attentiveness, and a gentle presence to every Sunday morning.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Provide loving care, supervision, and attention to infants to 24 month old children during LSQ's Sunday services.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming nursery environment.
• Follow all LSQ Kids safety and check-in / check-out procedures.
• Comfort children through age-appropriate play, soothing and redirection.
• Be prepared to play with the children on the floor.
• Communicate any needs or concerns to LSQ Kids leadership.
• Disinfect and clean commonly used items such as tables, carts, equipment, etc.
• Maintain an organized and clean storage room.
• Monitor worship service attendance.
• Run errands, as needed.
