Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care is an affiliate of Urgent Team, one of the largest independently operated urgent and family care centers in the Southeast. With nine locations across Alabama, we are committed to providing quality and accessible family healthcare. Our centers are open seven days a week to serve our patients better, offering treatments for a variety of injuries and illnesses, as well as occupational health and wellness care.

Position Overview :

In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering outstanding medical care to patients of all ages, addressing both acute and chronic medical conditions. You will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, diagnosing, treating, and educating patients while maintaining the highest standards of care. Full-time team members typically work rotating 36-40 hour weeks, with 12-hour shifts and every-other weekend, while PRN team members will be scheduled as needed.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and colleagues.
• Provide compassionate and efficient care to all patients seeking health services.
• Lead and support during emergencies, offering reassurance and comfort to patients.
• Perform medical assessments, treatments, and follow-ups for various conditions, including primary care and urgent care services.
• Execute medical procedures such as laceration repairs, pap tests, injections, and more.
• Establish and monitor appropriate levels of care tailored to each patient.
• Supervise on-site laboratory services and coordinate care with healthcare teams.
• Maintain clinical competency and stay abreast of best practices in healthcare.
• Collaborate with center leadership to ensure compliance with medical policies and standards.
• Assist in developing and presenting educational programs for staff and patients.
• Provide mentorship to fellow medical staff, ensuring high-quality care and patient satisfaction.
