Senior Mechanical Engineer - Refrigeration - Niles, IL - $100,000 to $140,000 / year

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced refrigeration solutions, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of refrigeration systems for industrial applications.
• Conduct thermal analysis and heat transfer calculations to optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility and efficiency of designs.
• Oversee the installation and testing of refrigeration systems, including chillers and cooling units.
• Develop and review technical documentation, including specifications and engineering reports.
• Implement best practices in welding and piping to enhance system reliability.
• Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and technicians.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in refrigeration technology.
