We are seeking several Clinical Informatics Specialists both mid & senior level individuals to join our team. The Clinical Informatics Specialists will play a crucial role in optimizing the utilization of healthcare information technology systems to improve patient care, streamline workflows, and enhance clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with clinical staff, IT professionals, and other stakeholders to assess, design, implement, and optimize clinical information systems.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical workflows, electronic health records (EHR), clinical decision support systems, and other healthcare IT applications.
- Analyze user needs and system requirements to develop customized solutions that meet clinical and operational objectives.
- Provide training and support to clinical staff on the effective use of healthcare IT systems, including EHR documentation, order entry, and decision support tools.
- Conduct workflow assessments and process redesign initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety in healthcare delivery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines into electronic systems.
- Participate in system configuration, testing, and validation activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in clinical informatics and healthcare IT.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical informatics for mid level / 5 years of experience in clinical informatics for senior level role, healthcare IT, or a related role within a healthcare setting.Strong knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems, clinical terminology, and healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).Proficiency in analyzing clinical workflows, identifying opportunities for optimization, and implementing process improvements.Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with clinical and technical teams.Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
