Responsible for a variety of procurement and vendor-related duties to support the Procurement team. Essential job duties include updating and maintaining product / vendor data in internal systems, reviewing vendor-provided order acknowledgments for accuracy, facilitating communication with vendors, maintaining vendor scorecards, reconciling purchase orders and invoices, interfacing with Procurement team members and other associated departments, organizing and scheduling meetings, assisting in preparing and auditing RFPs, generating reports, and managing general services. Supervisory responsibilities include not being responsible for supervising employees. Basic qualifications include a high school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent, and 1+ years of experience. Preferred qualifications include college coursework and an automotive background. Knowledge / skills / abilities include intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word & Excel, and the ability to handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity. Essential physical demands include being able to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
