Staff Pharmacist

Position : Staff Pharmacist

Location : Plattsburgh, New York, USA

Job Type : Full-time

Shift :

Primary Shift : 2 : 30 pm to 11 : 00 pm

Secondary Shifts : 1 : 00 pm to 9 : 30 pm and 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm

Required Experience :

At least 2 years of inpatient Hospital Pharmacy experience

Current NY state pharmacist license (or able to obtain)

Ability to work onsite

Willingness to work evening shifts

Preferred Experience :

Residency training experience

1+ years of Epic training

Retail pharmacy experience

Responsibilities :

Prepare and dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies for both inpatient and outpatient services at CVPH.

Ensure medication safety and appropriate pharmaceutical practices are followed across the hospital.

Work with medical staff to ensure effective treatment for patients and assist in managing medication therapies.

Education :

Required : BS Pharmacy & Registered Pharmacist (NYS)

Preferred : Hospital Pharmacy experience

Certifications : Required :

Current NY state pharmacist license (or able to obtain)

BLS certification (or able to obtain)

Special Skills :

Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-pressure situations

Computer knowledge is preferred
