Job descriptionHigh school diploma or equivalent is required. A post-secondary trade certification in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or other building trades certification is preferred. 1 year of experience as a maintenance technician or equivalent role is required. Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses and buildings. The position does not have any regular responsibility for overseeing or supervising the work of other team members. Work progress is monitored by supervisor / manager; incumbent follows precedents and procedures and may set priorities and organize work within general guidelines established by supervisor / manager / leader. The work environment is the typical maintenance or construction environment. The employee must complete their work satisfactorily in an indoor / outdoor environment where there are significant distractions including, various weather conditions, outdoor machinery, vendor interaction, loud noises, interruptions to answer questions from others, and HVAC & electrical building equipment. Must have a clean driving record, maintain current vehicle insurance, and be able to pass insurability guidelines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. About Your Role :
The Traveling Maintenance Tech focus is to support maintenance efforts at each property as needed. This is a hands-on, full-time position with day-to-day duties that are responsible for maintaining all physical and mechanical aspects of the property. The Traveling Maintenance Tech takes action to ensure that all individual and common area systems are functioning properly.
Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities :
- Collaborates with Maintenance Lead and / or Community Manager to set a plan for the day : unit turns, work order completions, and community appearance.
- Works with maintenance lead and staff to complete preventative maintenance as scheduled.
- Utilizes the property management software and mobile maintenance app to receive, log, and complete work orders as assigned.
- Assists with maintenance in the shop, garages, mechanical rooms, and storage areas.
- Assists in maintaining all vehicles and equipment, assuring that all are functioning, safe, and clean.
- When not traveling, this role will be based at a local site that has the most need as determined by the Facilities Manager or to the corporate office in Greeley, CO.
- Facilities initial and continuous training of leasing agents.
- Assists with other duties as assigned.

Company Hours - This position works 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM. Hours vary and are dependent on business needs.
Work Week - Monday through Friday, hours may vary with the workload. This position requires flexibility to work weekends, overtime, and other unscheduled time as needed
Annual Salary : $55,000-$65,000 annually
