Seasonal Accounting Associate

Job description :

• Process customer billing, collections, and cash application.
• Monitor customer accounts for overdue balances and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Assist with vendor invoices and payments in accordance with company policies.
• Prepare weekly AR and AP aging reports and support cash flow forecasting.
• Maintain detailed and accurate accounting records, including account reconciliations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coding of expenses.
• Assist with month-end activities related to AR and AP, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Other duties as assigned
• 1-2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related office experience (AR / AP preferred).
• Familiarity with customer billing, collections, and vendor invoice processing.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer skills.
• Experience with accounting software (ERP systems a plus).
• High attention to detail and accuracy in reconciliations and record-keeping.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
