Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine advanced SQL queries to analyze extensive financial datasets.
- Conduct data-driven investigations related to AML, KYC, and transaction monitoring.
- Convert analytical findings into actionable intelligence and support regulatory reporting.
- Work collaboratively with compliance, risk, and data engineering teams to advance anti-financial crime initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to U.S. financial regulations (e.g., BSA, OFAC, FinCEN).
- Maintain high data governance standards, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Requirements:
- Expert-level SQL skills with a proven track record in managing large, complex datasets.
- Demonstrated experience in financial crime analytics (AML, KYC, transaction monitoring).
- Strong knowledge of U.S. financial regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to analyze intricate data and present clear business insights.
- Familiarity with data governance practices and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Experience with BI/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
