American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health assignment in Alaska requiring at least 1 year of recent skilled hospice experience and an active AK OT license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Home Health setting servicing adult patientsDay shifts, 5x8 hours, typically 8 : 00–16 : 30No weekend or on-call requirementsExpected to visit up to 6 patients daily within a territory radius up to 100 milesHomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) charting system is used and proficiency is preferredFree parking and standard IRS mileage reimbursement providedDress code is any color scrubsTravelers are assigned their own territoryFirst-time travelers are acceptedSystem minimizes drive times by grouping client visits within territoriesAll documentation tools provided must be returned at end of assignmentMust be able to work independently in the field with minimal supervisionTravel pairs are accepted, but each must have their own transportation and will be given individual territoriesFormer perm employees must have a minimum 6-month separation and be approved by HR to return\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum 1 year of recent skilled hospice experience within the past 3 years (inpatient experience not accepted)Active OT license in Alaska and NBCOT certification requiredBCLS certification requiredOASIS experience required for those completing Start of Care (SOC)Timely communication and documentation skills requiredActive driver's license and personal transportation requiredCompletion of Hospice / Home Health Checklist requiredProfessional references from a supervisor within the last 2 yearsTravelers must submit all requested time off at the time of application\n Benefits\n
