About The Position

Travel Respiratory Therapist is needed for 13 weeks to start ASAP in a facility in Virginia. VA or compact license is required. VA license is required. BLS and (CRT or RRT) certificatons are required. Shifts are 6-6. 36 hours per week are guaranteed. Minimal to no RTO (must be included on submission). Skills : Airway Management, Medication Administration, Vent Management, ABGs, O2 Therapy, Suction, Pulmonary Toileting, Nebulizer, BiPAP, CPAP Minimum One year recent RRT experience required. Previous travel experience preferred. Epic experience preferred. RT is expected to have a fundamental, working knowledge of anatomy and physiology, disease processes, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic modalities. This includes, but is obviously not limited to : Arterial Blood Gas (ABG), EKG, Oximetry, Capnography, and Chest X-ray. Analysis and interpretation and their relevance to the patient's care.
