LeanIX Enterprise Architect

Location : Tarrytown, NY - 3 days per week on site

Duration : 6 month contract (potential extensions)

Must Haves :

• 3-5+ years of enterprise architecture experience
• Proficiency with LeanIX for creating and maintaining architecture models and diagrams
• Experience supporting architecture governance or review processes and building roadmaps and frameworks
• Strong familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and SaaS architectures
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as technical documentation skills

Day to Day :

A client is looking for an Enterprise Architect with LeanIX to sit onsite in Westchester, NY. This person will take ownership of supporting and configuring the LeanIX platform for key business applications, collaborating closely with business leads and program managers. Their daily responsibilities will include developing and maintaining reference architecture diagrams using LeanIX, drawing from various sources such as SDER reviews, vendor documentation, and project artifacts. They will document and standardize architecture patterns-including SaaS integrations, cloud-native applications, data platforms, and internal tools-while mapping security controls and enterprise standards to these reference architectures to ensure compliance and governance. This architect will be instrumental in building and implementing frameworks for the architecture review board, supporting ERP governance workflows, and facilitating the onboarding of new applications. Additionally, they will convert existing diagrams to ArchiMate notation, maintain consistency across business units, and collaborate with domain architects and business leads to validate reference architectures and support vendor catalog assessments. Their work will also involve tracking exceptions, documenting technical debt, and ensuring the quality and completeness of architecture models. Overall, they will support short-term initiatives to modernize and align IT applications with business needs, leveraging LeanIX to organize, manage, and govern IT platforms in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
